Visiting Tim in Palau
I extend an offer to all my family and friends to visit me in Palau. That being said, I completely understand if you are unable to visit. One Palau’s greatest benefits and difficulties is its remoteness. It is not easy, cheap, or convenient to get to Palau. However, for those who make the effort, the rewards are great.
For those interested in visiting, a few items of note. The bad news first: It is expensive to travel to Palau from the U.S. and expect to pay around $2000 for a round-trip ticket. It is a long trip and will take at least 24 hours. If you can get past those two hurdles, I can promise you a vacation you will never forget. Any visitors may stay with me in my apartment if they so desire or I can make arrangement for any of Palau’s fine resorts. We can tailor our activities to anything you desire. Outdoor activities abound, from lounging on the beach to ocean kayaking to snorkeling and scuba diving. I promise an eventful and unique vacation.
I’ll be in Palau until October 2007 and you may come and visit any time. I only ask that you give me a little advance notice so I am ready and waiting to entertain my guests. Please consider coming and visiting me!
