Rain, Rain, Go Away

It has been very rainy since I arrived. Apparently, last week was beautiful but this week was rainy. The worst rain was Thursday and Friday. Very heavy rain in the afternoon and evenings. There was also thunder and lighting, which is a rarity here in Palau. They get rain throughout the year, but usually in short bursts and it will be sunny the rest of the day. The last few days have been gray all day. There was supposed to be a softball tournament on tuesday and it has been moved back each day because of the rain and now its scheduled for next week. As a result, I haven't been able to take many pictures. I have a good view from the apartment and an even better one from the roof, but I haven't had an opportunity to take a picture of view because it hasn't been clear enough while I have been here during the day. It is still considered the rainy season, and it should dry out in a few weeks.
