Andy's Haikus

I asked Andy to write something for this travel journal about his experiences here in Palau. In response, he sent me seven haikus of his Palauan experience:
 
Palau paradise?
pretty archipelago,
it really exists.
 
Serene blue ocean
surrounds emerald rock islands;
words cannot describe.
 
Fishing in lagoon,
caught a nice mackerel trolling
thank you, Kregenows.
 
Babeldaob waterfall
To see, hike through dense jungle;
magnificent place.
 
Boat to Peleliu
WWII memorial
sad and powerful
 
Studied religion
Cultural nuance abounds
plus rest and fun.
 
Big thank you to Tim,
the trip was thoroughly great,
now home it's really cold.
