The Guests Have Departed
After nearly two straight months of house guests, I'm back on my own. After my parents left, I've been slowly returning to the normal pace of life. I rearranged the guest room back into storage, cleaned out the refrigerator, and other random things. It has been a little odd not having people to meet after work or tours to plan. This past weekend I had no exciting plans so I spent the days at the beach and nights watching movies at home. It has been much quieter. I had some very memorable experiences with my guests: diving with my college friends, Peleliu with Andy, Babeldaob with Megan, and kayaking with my parents. I am very grateful that so many people traveled all this way to visit and it really has made my Palauan experience even better than I had hoped.
A travel journal update: Entertaining my guests caused me to fall weeks behind on posting. I have finally caught up so I should be able to resume my previous posting frequency. Things should be a bit quieter in the near future and there is not likely to be as many adventures as with my guests. However, there is plenty still in store for my remaining time in Palau, including a vacation to Australia. Stay tuned.

You sound a little too happy to be "rid" of your guests!
